Past Life Regression Therapy

We now introduce Past Life Regression Therapy at our Super-speciality Psychiatry Clinic in Delhi. Dr. Chugh has undergone intensive training under the global pioneer and leader in PLRT Dr. Brian Weiss. Dr. Weiss too is a psychiatrist and is the author of several best-sellers including Many Lives Many Masters and Same Soul Many Bodies. Dr. Chugh offers PLRT as another path towards the healing of one’s psychological, emotional and physical self. PLRT is based on principles similar to the theory of Reincarnation and Karma that has been an integral part of the Indian society’s psycho-religious makeup. It is believed that there is a reason or purpose behind our birth. We are born because we are meant to learn some lessons from life. If this task remains incomplete in a particular lifetime, we take another birth. Whatever we are in our current lifetime is shaped by our previous life or lives. The events, traumas and deeds of these past lives have a connection and impact upon our present lifetime. Past life residues can occur at all levels of experience (physical, emotional, and cognitive) and can manifest in several different forms some of which could be physical complaints, fears, phobias, compulsions, preferences, dislikes and personality traits. The residues need to be cleansed at all levels if we are to live happy, fulfilling and contented lives. Residues may originate through several lifetimes, so it may be important to examine each one in turn to build a picture of the possible causes of present life problems.

PLRT allows an individual to access parts of his subconscious and unconscious minds as well as the previous life times that are otherwise out of the accessible range of one’s awareness. It works by allowing individuals to go back to the roots of their problems originating in previous lifetimes through unleashing the power of the sub-conscious mind and to solve them at that level.

PLRT utilizes the tool of hypnosis. The altered state of consciousness allows a person to be more receptive and responsive to inner experiences. It allows an individual to access parts of his subconscious and unconscious minds as well as the previous life times that are otherwise out of the accessible range of one’s awareness. With the help of this, one can unravel the possible roots of the problems of his present life.

So how does PLRT work?

Let us take the example of emotions that are a problem in the current lifetime, such as anger, guilt, sadness, anxiety and grief. These are experienced during regression, in order for the person to be able to release them and become free of the past influence. This also allows the person to convert the present agony into an understanding. Besides, revisiting the past life can give valuable insights to a person about the things that are missing in the present life and enable him to move towards greater physical and mental well-being. A lot of healing may result from releasing blocked emotions and from forgiveness. A turning point in the current life direction is made when the individual fully understands how past life experiences may have shaped the present life and is prepared to let go and start on a new path.

The impact of a past life can also be reduced with the help of the after-death experience, a phenomenon that is a part of the PLRT process. This allows one to look at a particular lifetime from a different and greater perspective, thus removing its traumas.

PLRT is available for both individuals and groups.
